I Don’t just Believe, I Have Buena Fe

Buena Fe

I love this country as I love myself.

The fascist’s slime covers the fascists from top to bottom. But there is not a single light that does not shine on Cuba, it will not be overshadowed because the people are awakened with their yearnings for equality and respect, their yearnings to overthrow the blockade, which is internationalist solidarity, the good kind, the kind that is useful.

One fact about Israel Rojas and Yoel Martinez that make up Buena Fe is that they were born in the province of Guantanamo, and Guantanamo has its history.

Guantanamo is the ultimate Yankee prison of the US elite, the criminal group that occupies as a colony a piece of Cuba to recreate itself in torture, a center condemned all over the world that also occupies territories in numerous countries where they have installed between 800 and a thousand military bases from which it directs coups d’états, wars and other selective crimes.

The musical group Buena Fe is quite the opposite product of Guantanamo, their defense of Cuba’s sovereignty, who will say first of all down with the blockade, their defense of what is most commendable in human beings reinforces those who attend each of their concerts, millions of people follow them and millions and more millions of people feel affinity with Cuba. The transformation of the audience into a broadcaster, one by one, one by one, makes me have faith in the future.

Buena Fe’s final concert in Spain will be in Madrid, this Saturday, June 3, at 8.30 pm. At the Marcelino Camacho Auditorium (C/Lope de Vega 40).
