The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, counts among its enormous achievements to be the country that has held the most democratic elections in all of Latin America and the Caribbean, whose transparency has not been able to be refuted.
The U.S. administration is once again trying to delegitimize the electoral process, to impose candidates that represent the interests of the United States in order to take over Venezuela and its enormous hydrocarbon resources.
Washington is not satisfied with the economic blockade, the enormous economic sanctions applied against Venezuela, the blockade of its accounts in third countries, the blatant theft of its gold and the constant aggression of media terrorism.
Mocking all international conventions on respect for the sovereign decisions of States, it wants to impose a President to suit its own interests, to take over Venezuela and its wealth, to annihilate the enormous social advances of the People, to prevent its leadership in the region and the world, its foreign policy based on respect, multilateralism, solidarity and peace, and to turn it once again into one of its colonies.
We call to denounce the assassination attempt against the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro, on March 25, by assassins who respond to the fascist organization “Vente Venezuela”, which never requested to be registered as a party. From 2023 to date this year, seven conspiracies were deactivated with the aim of attacking military installations and attempting against the leaders of the Government. The Venezuelan Prosecutor’s Office announced in February the arrest of 15 people linked to the “White Armband” plan, which was plotting to assassinate President Maduro and other senior leaders of his Government, with the aim of unleashing chaos and commotion in the country.
We call on the social movements, political and cultural organizations to support with all our strength the Venezuelan electoral process, based on the Agreements reached that guarantee the normal development of the presidential elections on July 28.
The National Electoral Council -CNE- affirmed that 37 political organizations and 13 presidential candidates were registered, in accordance with the principles of the Bolivarian Constitution and the laws that guarantee peace and security for the Venezuelan people.
Our solidarity goes out to President Nicolás Maduro Moros. We repudiate the attempts of assassination and disruption of the internal order. And we stand in firm support of the electoral process in Bolivarian Venezuela.
