Venezuela President Maduro organizes solidarity conference with Palestine in Caracas

The President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, said Friday that the Palestinian cause is the most just that humanity has today, during his speech at the International Conference in Solidarity with Palestine, which was held in Caracas. He went on to remind the audience that “it is not a time for cowards, it is a time for courage and permanent battle of resistance and progress.”

The activity was organized by Maduro and was also attended by the emblematic Palestinian fighter Leyla Khaled, Foreign Minister Yvan Gil, the Attorney General of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab, the director of the Al Mayadeen Network in Spanish, Wafika Ibrahim, the Brazilian intellectual and journalist, Breno Altman and the Venezuelan fighter and great activist for Palestine, Hindu Anderi and many others.

The final speaker was the Venezuelan president, who stated that: “If we review the causes of struggles inherited from the last century, to make a just world, the Palestinian cause and its right to be an independent, full and just state is pending. It is the cause that unites humanity, the president said. Repeating several times throughout his emotional speech;“Venezuela is Palestine”.

The head of state denounced that Israel’s genocide in Palestine has been supported, financed and armed by the US imperialist elites, with the complicity of Europe and the Latin American extreme right.

Maduro proposed to create a powerful communicational network for the truth of the Peoples:

“Create new consensus to do more for Palestine… Who controls the communications of the world? We know that these networks are united to colonize our country. This powerful tool comes directly to the phone. Not only through social networks. Artificial Intelligence organizes the world campaigns of communicational wars. They are making a cognitive massacre. We must create alternative social networks. Defend our children from the poisonous western networks.

Maduro went on to say that a greater consensus of the nations of the world is required in favor of the freedom of the Palestinian people and questioned the position of those like Argentine president, Javier Milei, who was in full support of the Zionist State of Israel that promotes genocide in Gaza.

The Palestinian cause is a global consensus, it needs us to do more. The peoples of the world, the youth of the world, of Africa, Asia, Europe, a cause that travels the world for the freedom of the Palestinian people”.

In this sense, he said that Milei is “a rat” and “as such (…) is an accomplice of the genocide in Gaza because he is in full support of the bombing and murder of thousands of innocent people”.

“All of Venezuela is Palestine that in its anti-colonialist struggle, sooner rather than later we will return to Jerusalem, victorious”, he asserted.

For his part, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil, stressed that this meeting was generated for global reflection after more than a year of Israeli massacres in Gaza, which has resulted in more than 50 thousand deaths, mainly of women, the elderly and children.

Finally, Palestinian advocate and leader Leyla Khaled highlighted the Venezuelan initiative, with the participation of delegations from more than 52 countries, and condemned that: Gaza is suffering from hunger, our children are dying of hunger”. At the same time she praised the work of President Maduro, “my comrade, we are very proud of you, just as we are proud to be Palestinians”, she emphasized.

Khaled also stressed that the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, has supported the Zionist aggression in the Gaza Strip and the genocide to the civilian population.

“Thus he will be stained and marked. When future generations talk about Milei, they will remember that he was the president who from Argentina who supported the bombing and murder of children, women, the elderly, thousands of innocent people,” she said.
