The Venezuelan far-right former candidate for the presidential elections that were held on July 28, Edmundo González Urrutia, has declared himself the winner despite coming in second place. He has been recognized as the “president” of Venezuela by Washington and some of its vassal states as part of a plot reminiscent of the failed Guaidó project. (more…)

Through a statement from the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry it was learned Monday that the Venezuelan government reached an agreement with Brazil for that country to take custody of the diplomatic missions of Argentina and Peru that are in Venezuelan territory as of August 1st. (more…)

In front of the Firefighters Museum Cuartel Enrique Estrada, in Matanzas, tribute was paid to those fallen in the line of duty in the fire at the local Supertanker Base exactly two years ago. Seventeen chimes rang out in the surroundings of La Vigía square, and the sound of the sirens of the fire trucks and the National Anthem, preceded the roll call to keep present those who perished.
