After an embarrassing amount of time to give the official results by the Añez dictatorship and its Supreme Electoral Tribunal, finally, at one o’clock in the morning, the data became known to the public. The results are tha Lucho Arce and David Choquehuanca from the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS) will be the next president and vice president of Bolivia. The right-wing Carlos Mesa, got 31.5% and the fascist Fernando Camacho only got 14.5%.

The de facto government had justification for militarizing the country as it did during all these days since the coup, nor did the provocative and violent behavior of Minister Murillo, who not only had MAS leaders and militants persecuted but also practically accused a large number of the election observers of being “subversives” and “left-handers”. Everything collapsed for these murderers of the Bolivian people. In light of these results, what remains for them is to flee by helicopter or to prepare for the new justice to make them pay for their crimes against humanity.

The truth is that the winning duo Arce and Choquehuanca will have a hard time because of the state of complete disaster that the dictatorship leaves the country, but the hardest step has already been taken, and that is that through the vote a cruel and corrupt dictatorship has been overthrown. That is what the Bolivian people have understood very well and that is why in the early hours of the morning many went out to celebrate there and also throughout the vast diaspora where thousands of Bolivians live.
