ANAP Statement in Solidarity with Venezuela

By CLOVC on November 21, 2025 on Year 67, of the Revolution.

The Cuban National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) expresses its strongest and unconditional solidarity with the brotherly people and government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. In response to the recent provocative military deployment by the United States government in Caribbean waters, the members, cadres, and workers of ANAP raise our voices in protest and demand. This warmongering action constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and the sovereignty of the nations in the region, and a direct threat to the peace and stability of the entire great homeland.

This armed deployment is an act of intimidation and hostility against Venezuela, intended to destabilize a sovereign country and sabotage its right to self-determination. The Cuban peasantry strongly rejects these practices, typical of a colonial era that we believed to be over, when foreign powers sought to dictate the destiny of a nation.

We remind the United States government and the international community of the historic and unanimous mandate of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), proclaimed at its Second Summit in Havana in 2014, which declared Latin America and the Caribbean a Zone of Peace, free from interference, military intervention, and external threats.

Therefore, we, the Cuban peasants, who have witnessed our own struggle for sovereignty and independence, demand: the immediate, definitive, and unconditional dismantling of all US military deployments in and around the Caribbean. The cessation of all pressure, economic blockade, and aggression against the sister Republic of Venezuela. Respect for the principle of self-determination of peoples and the Charter of the United Nations. Full and complete compliance with the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace.

We, the men and women of the Cuban countryside, reaffirm our commitment to Latin American integration, the defense of national sovereignty, and mutual respect among nations.

Our solidarity with Venezuela is the same solidarity we have received in our most difficult moments. Today, as yesterday, we say firmly: Venezuela is not alone.

Peace is not negotiated, it is defended. Sovereignty is not surrendered, it is exercised.

For Peace, Sovereignty, and Dignity in our America.

Long live sovereign Venezuela. Long live solidarity among peoples.

Until victory, always!
