After President Donald Trump held a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the White House released the “comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza” agreed upon by the leaders. Of the 20 points contained in the document, only one (point 12: no one will be forced to leave Gaza, and those who wish to leave may do so and return freely) does not represent nonsense or a crime against humanity. President Nicolás Maduro signed the Decree on External Unrest to protect Venezuela’s territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence against external aggression. The decree was announced on Monday by Vice President Delcy Rodríguez. (more…)

Protesters marched to the UN headquarters in New York, where they were joined by Colombia President Gustavo Petro

As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the UN General Assembly, thousands of pro-Palestine protesters marched only a few blocks away to demand his arrest. Demonstrators first rallied in Times Square, hearing from a variety of speakers from organizations across the pro-Palestine and anti-war movement, then the crowd marched west to the UN headquarters.
