Colombia, together with Algeria, will denounce before the International Criminal Court (ICC) the crimes perpetrated by the Israeli regime against civilians in the Gaza Strip.

In a publication in the social network X, the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, has informed this Thursday of his country’s cooperation with Algeria to denounce before the International Criminal Court (ICC) for the crimes of the Israeli regime against Gaza

“The Republic of Colombia will cooperate with the complaint filed by the Republic of Algeria before the International Criminal Court for war crimes against Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu for the massacre of children and civilians of the Palestinian people,” said the Colombian president.

Petro said that his country’s foreign minister, Alvaro Leyva, will meet with the ICC prosecutor the following day.

Colombia has been one of the pioneering countries in Latin America in denouncing Israel’s attacks against civilians in the coastal enclave and has summoned its ambassador to Tel Aviv for consultations.
