Ministry of Health: Only 6 Ambulances Remain Fit for Use in the Gaza Strip

The Palestinian Ministry of Health warns that only 6 ambulances have been left fit for use in the Gaza Strip due to Israeli attacks.

The Gaza Ministry of Health indicated on Saturday in a press conference in front of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in the northern Gaza Strip that the Israeli regime continues to target health personnel through shelling and arrests, which has resulted in the death of dozens of people.

It has also revealed that only six ambulances are fit for use in the Gaza Strip, noting that they are having difficulty operating some basic services, including intensive care units.

The Ministry of Health has warned of the spread of epidemics among the displaced and the population, especially children and the elderly.

The Palestinian Portfolio has stated that infrastructure, health and services in the Rafah region of southern Gaza are fragile and cannot support the needs of 1.3 million citizens and displaced persons.

“We call on the international community and human rights institutions to help restore the health system in the area, and introduce medical devices, equipment, medicines and supplies,” he has called for.
