President Maduro: No Psychological Warfare Will Stop Venezuela

President Nicolas Maduro

On Monday, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro expressed his gratitude for the gestures of support from various world leaders in the face of multifaceted aggression from the United States and assured that the country will overcome all obstacles.“No psychological warfare will stop Venezuela. We defeated them in the psychological war and in the economic war. Venezuela is moving forward,” said the president during the Digital Zone section of the program Con Maduro +.

During his speech, Maduro thanked the presidents of Russia, China, Belarus, and Cuba for their support, who on Sunday sent him a message on the occasion of his 63rd birthday and expressed their deep solidarity with the Venezuelan leader in the face of constant threats from Washington.

The president’s statements come amid the U.S. military deployment in Caribbean waters and following the recent warning from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), urging commercial flights to “exercise extreme caution” when flying over Venezuela and the southern Caribbean.

On the other hand, the head of state acknowledged that the new achievements in economic matters and food sovereignty are the result of having found the way forward and ceasing to depend on the oil industry. “We have a perfect plan, the 13-engine plan, which, with the specific growth of each of the engines and the harmonious articulation of each of the 13 engines, has created a great productive capacity,” he said.

According to the president, the idea is to “produce everything in Venezuela” in order to meet domestic demand and enable the country to become an exporter, with the support of a business community committed to the nation’s needs. “Today I have more confidence than ever in the business community in all areas,” Maduro said, highlighting the role of the communal economy, which he called a secret weapon that could change everything.

“It is not exclusive; on the contrary, it is necessary to develop all forms of economic activity and to develop and expand all the productive economic forces of society. That is what we have done,” added the Venezuelan commander. The president affirmed that psychological warfare will have no effect on the Venezuelan people.

He also pointed out that security has increased and acknowledged the actions of the Bolivarian authorities in the program. “Security will continue to be consolidated,” he said, emphasizing that “the people are the greatest guarantee of security.”

On the other hand, the president stressed that there is a rejection on the part of the people, with a broad consensus on “the rejection of the U.S. military threat,” “the rejection of the call for invasion by the right,” “the personal rejection of each name: Juan Guaidó, María Machado, Leopoldo López,” and on the other hand, this reflects that “support for the Bolivarian National Armed Forces is breaking records” and “the increase to almost 70 percent of the Venezuelan people’s support for their president.”

In turn, he thanked Christian and evangelical churches in the country and around the world: “I thank the Christian and evangelical churches for their courage in defending the right to peace, rejecting war, and accompanying the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, in prayer.”
“Humility will make us great. Let us be a humble people, tireless and persevering warriors, so that you may see that what will ultimately flourish in Venezuela is prosperity and happiness,” said President Maduro.
