Cuba’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, denounced today the US government’s insistence “on attacking world peace and the sovereignty of other independent states, pushing the planet into a scenario of warmongering chaos and a permanent threat to international stability and security,” he said in X.

The Cuban foreign minister described the Trump administration’s policy as chaotic and fascist, noting that “within the United States itself, there is strong opposition to it, marked by an increase in protests in various cities across the country.”

Bruno Rodríguez considered that U.S. domestic policies promote hatred, violence, and death among its own citizens.

With each action, the US president is moving further away from his campaign promises. The senior Cuban diplomat pointed out that “his domestic policies promote hatred, violence, and death among his citizens, seriously violate the #humanrights of hundreds of thousands of migrants, and disregard the commitments made to his voter base.”

Following the attack in Venezuela on January 3, Donald Trump has launched threats against various nations from the White House, moving further and further away from being the president who would end wars.
