“Lying comes at no cost when you go to the U.S. Congress” is the phrase that perhaps best sums up, in the words of Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Cossio, what has occurred in recent days in both chambers of the U.S. Congress during Mr. Rubio’s participation in his capacity as Secretary of State. In the face of slanderous narratives against the Bolivarian Revolution and its leadership, in the face of those who appoint themselves the Inquisition and condemn our process to the pyre of their feelings and frustrations, stoking division among popular forces, uncertainty, and hatred, there is no room for hesitant responses. In the face of those who hurl very serious accusations against comrades who have taken on the responsibility of leading our Homeland in this decisive moment, a calm response is warranted. NO WAR ON CUBA Actions Spreading Across the US

This morning during the busy commute on the east side of the San Francisco Bay, thousands of vehicles drove under a banner demanding no war on Cuba. People in hundreds of those cars, weary of Trump’s wars and threats of new ones, honked in support. This banner drop was organized by the Richmond – Regla Friendship Committee and is part of a week of actions  called by the No War on Cuba Campaign of the National Network on Cuba. (more…)
