The Cuban musician community in Florida is facing moments of deep concern following the detention by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) of two promising young talents in Latin music: percussionist Degnis Bofill and pianist Andy García. In August, right-wing billionaire Abelardo de la Espriella took over as president of Colombia and vowed to push for a far-right agenda, despite having won by less than a percentage point against left-wing candidate Ivan Cepeda.
